Uses a fixed absolute tolerance of 0.001 model units; it cannot be set by the caller. If pCurve1 == pCurve2, finds self-intersections. Results are appended to the output arrays. No intersections returns SM_ERR (the kernel itself succeeds with no solutions; this wrapper treats that as failure). An overlap is reported by its start point and parameters only.

Parameters:

  • pCurve1 – [in ]: Curve to intersect

  • pCurve2 – [in ]: Curve to intersect

  • p3DPoints – [out]: Resulting intersection points

  • parametersOnCurve1 – [out]: Resulting parameters on first curve

  • parametersOnCurve2 – [out]: Resulting parameters on second curve
